We are a company dedicated to forestry work.
Sawn timber
At South Spain Timber, we specialize in the distribution and importation of sawn timber sourced from our own forest management. Primarily focused on distributing timber from our management in Jaén.
We work especially focused on our commitment to the legal and responsible utilization of the forest ecosystems in our mountains, promoting responsible trade and consumption of our products, thus enhancing the ecological value of our parks and serving as an example to prevent illegal logging practices or forests managed without consistent environmental or social criteria.
To demonstrate our responsible and sustainable commitment, South Spain Timber has been awarded the sustainable forest management certificate in accordance with the provisions of the UNE 162002:2013 Standard 'Sustainable Forest Management. Criteria and Indicators', and the Spanish Forestry Certification System (PEFC Spain) since June 2014 for our forests.
Wooden boards
The wooden boards we market at South Spain Timber come from the highest quality pine wood sourced from our own timber harvesting, which we then distribute to sawmills to be processed into measurements and cuts tailored to our customers' needs.
With our sawn timber used for interior carpentry, crates, pallets, boards, etc., we offer the added value of being sourced from sustainable and responsible management of the forests in the Serranía de Jaén, even promoting their natural growth and development.
